Though the referees didn’t see Terrell Suggs punch Jerome Simpson, the NFL did. According to Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com, Suggs was fined $15,000 for the incident, but he owned up to it after the game.

Suggs conceded that he hit Simpson after the Ravens made a key stop during the fourth quarter. Suggs’ helmet was ripped off on the play by Bengals left tackle Andrew Whitworth, but Suggs targeted the wide receiver.

The Pro Bowl pass-rusher wasn’t penalized for the hit.

“I could have cost my team,” Suggs said after the game. “I’ve got to get better in that area. Luckily, I got away with one. Usually, I don’t get away with anything. They were too busy looking for the spot of the ball.”
