Remember when that writer in Houston said that the Texans owed the Ravens a “whipping”? That ended up being exactly what they gave them.
Houston pounded Baltimore in all facets of the game on Sunday, embarrassing the AFC North leading Ravens in a 43-13 beating. The Texans recorded twice as many first downs, racked up 244 more total yards on offense, had two less turnovers, forced a safety and a defensive score.
Quite possibly the only good news for the Ravens out of Houston was the return of 2011 Defensive Player of the Year, Terrell Suggs. T-Sizzle had four tackles and his first sack of the 2012 season.
After the game, he was none too pleased with the Ravens effort against the Texans.
“There’s no sugarcoating, call a spade a spade,” Suggs told The Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson. “They whipped our ass.”

Let me just start with, I love the Ravens – always have and always will. I will always support them and be the forever the optimist about their team and upcoming seasons.
BUT, Ya’ll talking about how Lewis needs to retire or leave the field on third downs are in for a rude awakening. 1) Except for his 2002 and 2005 injury plagued seasons, he has led the team in tackles. Others might be able to contribute, but the Ravens do not have those same caliber players. 2) He is the general out there and although he may be slow, he puts the other defensive players in the proper position to make plays and whether or not those players execute is another story. Those are the two important facts that no one has addressed and until they are, this team will not be a defensive prowess without Lewis.
Sorry to say, but this team will be lucky to go 4 – 4 the rest of the way and I hope they prove me wrong. Keep your expectations low the rest of the year so you don’t stress over the Ravens games.
The results are in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Ozzie’s high draft choices , the ones who are still around , can’t make the grade,,,,,,,,,,,,,they are simply piss poor choices and the Ravens will be paying for his recent body of work for years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for nothing Ozzie , still no super bowl ring as a GM……………….
