The Baltimore Orioles scored 19 runs on 17 hits against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night. The offense belted eight home runs including Chris Davis‘ ridiculous 371 foot shot on to Eutaw Street.
A large part of last night’s offense was Chris Parmelee, who made his debut with the O’s in right field (and later first base) and didn’t disappoint with. Parmelee went 4-for-6 with 2 RBI, a pair of homers and 3 runs scored. After the game, he received (what I believe to be) the first triple postgame pie in O’s history.
“It just never stopped. I didn’t know if it ever would. It kept on coming.”
