The Ravens pounded the Jets in week four, scoring three defensive touchdowns and crushing New York’s QB Mark Sanchez nearly every snap. It was an embarrassing loss for the Jets who fell to 2-2 and third in the AFC East.
This loss could have caused the Ravens to say any number of things to the Jets on the field. Like “how are we going to see you in the AFC championship if finish behind the Bills?” Or “I haven’t seen Rex Ryan this upset since he caught his wife wearing socks.”
Regardless of the one liners, Ravens special teamer and linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo said something to the Jets linebacker Aaron Maybin that he later said was “uncalled for.” It was something that was bad enough to cause him to apologize on Monday.

“Is that because Maybin is used to being on bad defenses?” Rex’s D is great, Flacco played just as bad against our D and he wasn’t knocked down every snap. I apologize if you were being sarcastic. Raven fans do realize Baxter isn’t even our backup C, he’s now the 4th option we’ve used. At least one of those fumble 6’s was BS as his arm was moving forward in both. Brady would’ve gotten both calls.
