I’ll tell you what you Dylan Bundy packed for Spring Training.
According to Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com, the Orioles 19-year-old prospect brought his Xbox, comforter and a punching bag that he props up against his hotel bed. “Seriously,” Ghroli tweets.
Bundy pitched a scoreless inning in his spring debut against the Red Sox on Tuesday. He threw 15 pitches, seven for strikes and issued one watch. He got Jacoby Ellsbury to groundout to shortstop and forced a flyout to center on Adrian Gonzalez.
Unlike Brian Matusz, Bundy’s velocity was in between 95-96 most of his appearance. He hit 97 twice when pitching to A-Gon.
I like this kid more and more everyday. Please don’t ruin him, Orioles.
