If I were handing out game balls on Sunday, the first one would have to go to photographer Phil Hoffman, who tore his Achilles tendon and returned to the field to finish shooting the game in a protective boot. That’s dedication.
Hoffman went down when Tandon Doss ran into him behind the back corner of the end zone. Doss was attempting to track down a Joe Flacco pass and shoved out of bounds and into the unsuspecting photographer. The Ravens Twitter account shared the news of Hoffman’s Achilles tear and return to the sideline.
Ravens photographer Phil Hoffman tore his achilles when Doss crashed him on the sidelines earlier. He's now in a boot back working the game.

I probably should have known that Hoffman was a bad ass because;
- He’s sporting a sweet red bandana and
- He’s wearing shorts on a cold, rainy day.

He also appears to be an older gentleman, which is good for us old guys. nice job, Phil. Way to be an ass kicker!
