Playoff Bound Mariners Host D.C. Armor June 27th, 7:00 PM at 1st Mariner Arena

Baltimore, Maryland (June 23, 2009) – Times are tough, but the Baltimore Mariners are offering some relief when they host “Recession Busters Night” on June 27th at 7:00 PM at 1st Mariner Arena. The playoff-bound Mariners will close out their 2009 regular season against local rivals, the D.C. Armor and will be offering discount tickets and several cost cutting prizes!

For this special night all 200 level tickets will only be $10 – so a family of four can see a professional football game for only $40! Also, courtesy of 100.7, The Bay, the Mariners will have the following contest prizes: free tickets to see Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick, discount coupons to Pot Belly Sandwich Works and Hillen Tire and Auto Service, lottery tickets, and CDs. The Mariners will also be giving away admissions to Medieval Times and movie tickets.

The Mariners (8-5) have earned a playoff berth in the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) playoffs and will take on the Reading Express (10-3) in the first round of AIFA postseason action on July 2nd. Come cheer on your playoff-bound Mariners as they set sail for the ring in 2009!
