Despite being tied atop the division, the Yankees’ chances of winning the American League East are far higher than the Orioles’ due to the strength of both team’s final series. The Orioles are in Tampa playing the Rays, who are fighting for their playoff lives, while the New York hosts the last place Boston Red Sox.
#RedSox lineup a Ft. Myers special. Actually, if this was spring training, opposing clubs would object to lack of regulars.

While Boston is obviously an easier opponent than Tampa Bay, the Red Sox are sending their hottest pitcher, Clay Buccholz, to the mound tonight against CC Sabathia. But the lineup that Bobby Valentine has put together certainly isn’t helping the O’s.
Pedro Ciriaco, 2B
Daniel Nava, LF
Cody Ross, RF
Mauro Gomez, 1B
Ryan Lavarnway, DH
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
Danny Valencia, 3B
Che-Hsaun Lin, CF
Jose Iglesias, SS
No Dustin Pedroia. No Jacoby Ellsbury.
It’s very simple , this is the payback for last year……………….
Payback is beating us on the field. Not laying down for the Yankees. I guess since they couldn’t beat us on the field, they are going to let themselves be ravaged by the Yankees. What an honorable move…
it sucks,,,,,,,,,,,,,I hate them more and more each year…………….
Bobby V is a dick. Can I say dick here?
