Capitals fan favorite Brooks Laich is one of the biggest question marks surrounding the organization this offseason as he enters unrestricted free agency. In his three seasons with Washington, Laich has been a consistent left wing, who totaled 16 goals and 32 assists this season.
Laich talked about his future with Mike Vogel of WashingtonCaps.com and seems to think his time with Washington isn’t coming to an end anytime soon.
“It certainly to me doesn’t feel like this is my last day at Kettler or that I have played my last game as a Washington Capital,” Laich told Vogel. He did say that ultimately the decision is up to the Capitals and stated that he doesn’t know what to expect in free agency.
