Nelson Cruz drove in all of the Orioles seven runs on Sunday afternoon. He had two, two run homers and a bases loaded triple in a stellar 4-for-5 day.
His second homer added to his major league lead with 39, and he reached 100 RBI. Nelly has definitely has been the Orioles offensive leader, kickstarting the offense in a game like today where no one else was hitting.
Dan Duqette definitely found a steal when singing Cruz to a one year, $8 million dollar. Hopefully, Cruz will sign a long term extension and stay a cog in the middle of the lineup for the near future.
