Tonight, two games will decide what the next couple weeks will look like for the Capitals 2011 playoff run.
As you can see by our scientifically configured wheel, the most likely opponents are either Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay, depending on the winner of their deciding game 7 at 8 p.m. tonight.
However, if at 7 p.m. tonight, the Canadiens can beat the Bruins on their own turf, the Caps will get a highly-anticipated re-match with the Habs after last year’s first round barnburner.
So, who do you most, and least, want to see Washington play? The geographic and media-friendly rival (sans Malkin and probably Crosby)? The re-match with last year’s spoilers? Or, the division foe with a track record this season for silencing the Caps’ offense?
However it shakes out tonight, we’ll be back tomorrow with a series preview.
