If you’re a believer in the projection systems, you’ll probably stay away from the Orioles 16/1 odds to win the AL Pennant and 33/1 odds to win the World Series.

2014 Home Run Leader Projections

What about Chris Davis? His 53 dingers last season were an MLB-high. Bovada has him tied with Miguel Cabrera at 8/1 odds to lead the big leagues again in 2014. PECOTA thinks he’ll hit 26. ZiPS from FanGraphs thinks he’ll lead all of baseball with 41. Adam Jones has 50/1 odds to lead the league in home runs, PECOTA thinks he’ll hit 25, ZiPS projects 28.

If you can’t get enough of the preseason odds, you can wager on three Orioles to win the American League MVP. Chris Davis at 16/1, Adam Jones at 20/1 and Manny Machado at 33/1.

Chris Tillman and Ubaldo Jimenez both have 50/1 odds to win the AL Cy Young award.
