Miguel Gonzalez tossed an absolute gem Wednesday night. His first major league complete game shutout came in a 6-0 win against the Reds.

Gonzalez cruised into the eighth inning and managed to work out of a bases loaded jam.

He ended up striking out eight Redlegs, recorded five three up, three down innings and threw only 117 pitches.

Gonzo with this performance on Wednesday, may have solidified his spot in the postseason rotation.  He’s now 4-2 with a 2.00 ERA over his last nine starts.
