Hopefully you didn’t watch the Pro Bowl on Sunday. If you did you wasted your time, especially as a Ravens fan. The most influential Raven in the AFC’s 55-41 loss to the NFC was Billy Cundiff who had three extra points. Haloti Ngata had four tackles, Ray Lewis had three and Terrell Suggs had one. Here’s the real highlight from Hawaii.
I’ve ranted about how awful this game is before. I’m not in the mood to tell you how much of a joke it is today. The score should do that for me.

Zach- love you brother but I am NOT going to lie, the NHL all star (?) game was just as BIG of a joke. I actually resorted to watching the final round of the SD golf match it was so bad. I am sticking with the summer classic as truly the ONLY all star event.
You're right as far as defense goes. The NHL all star game showed none of it…but that's kind of what fans of the game want to see. The Pro Bowl provides nothing. The MLB has it right…except for the game having meaning.

Sunday’s Pro Bowl got an 8.6 overnight rating, which was an 8% increase from last year’s suddenly boffo ratings. It was the most-watched Pro Bowl since 1997 with 13.4 million viewers, the most-watched show on television Sunday, and the most watched all-star game in any sport since 2009.
To put it another way: The Pro Bowl nearly gets the same ratings as some BCS games or World Series matchups.
The NFL rules. They better not screw it up.
