Who doesn’t like winning money?

Especially if you can win said duckets from your friends or even perfectly nice strangers.

That’s what the daily baseball fantasy contests on DraftKings and other outlets are offering and I for one am all in. The buzz its creating among younger seam-heads allows them to follow not only their squads-but other teams/players around the league.

So with that mediocre backdrop, here is the link to the BSR Wednesday Contest. All you need is a DraftKings account and follow the link below.

If you are a first timer, it’s easy to fill out a lineup. Here are a couple examples for tonight’s 7pm games (which is when the contest will start).

Coming off getting no hit by the Giants, the Mets Matt Harvey takes the bump vs. SF at Citi Field. As great as the Dark Knight is, he will cost you $10,700 of your $50,000 budget and you still need another pitcher. So maybe you look at selecting former Orioles “great” Jake Arrieta who will only cost you $9,800 instead and another guy like the Twins Kyle Gibson ($6,400) who K rate is pretty under rated.

On the offensive side of things, you need to fill 3 OF spots and the rest of the infield on said $50K budget. Selecting hometown guys like Adam Jones ($4,900) or maybe even Crush Davis ($3,900) could enhance your viewing pleasure while the Birds feast on Rick Porcello ($6,200) and the RedSox.

Or maybe you think Big Sloppy ($4,000) will break out of his year long slump in a ballpark he historically has deposited balls onto Eutaw St. I surely hope that’s not the case, but it’s all about scoring the most fantasy points.

You get the point, it’s fun and easy to do.

So join us today and make yourself some fun money while taking down other BSR family members in the process.

Good luck.
