Since moving to first base, Mark Reynolds has become a human highlight reel. His picks and diving stops have really solidified the Orioles defense and moving him from third allowed the Orioles to bring up Manny freaking Machado.
On Saturday night, Reynolds made arguably his best catch of the season. On a foul ball down the first base line, Reynolds reached into the stands to make a catch and then fell between the tarp and the side wall. Thankfully, he was okay.
GIF of Marky Mark’s awesomeness after the bump.
Didn’t look like that hard of a catch.
WHAT A SEASON!!! Mark Reynolds has made a fighting case to bring him back as the first baseman next year. He’s been near Gold Glove-worthy.
Ralph, how long were you on the drug abuse hotline last night?
Still nothing on the site about the O’s making the playoffs? Nice!
It’s up for your viewing pleasure, donk!
Nobody wants to listen to your shit Marty McFly… So get back into your DeLorean and punch that bastard to 88 and get the hell out of here…
Mark has been a real positive on this club,,,,,,,,,,,I would like to see him come back , he is one of the few bats that can actually carry a team for a week or so,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Actually, it was Mark’s complete clankness at third (and Betemit’s) that FORCED us to bring up Machado. That’s one of the pieces of awesome about this season, that even what was bad turned out to help us. Still don’t know if 1/3 of a good season is enough to pick up his big bonus for next year, but at least he’s made it a question. Two months ago there was no question.
