With their series win in Atlanta, the Baltimore Orioles have no recorded two more wins in interleague play this season than they did in 2011. The O’s sit at 9-3 against the National League and finished 7-11 in those match ups last year.

Baltimore dropped the series finale in D.C. to the Nationals and the openers against the Phillies and Braves. Baltimore has won all four of their interleague match ups and swept the Pirates last week.
Baltimore concludes interleague play in New York against the Mets for a three game set, rests on Thursday and then begins a home series against the Nationals.
Red hot Washington jumped even further out ahead of the Braves in the NL East thanks to the Orioles series win, but couldn’t return the favor as they were swept at home by the Yankees.
