The Baltimore Orioles announced that they signed Koji Uehara on Tuesday to a two year contract.
Uehara, 33, is the first Japanese born player in Orioles franchise history. He spent the past 10 seasons with with Japanese Central League’s Yomiuri Giants. Uehara is 112-62 with a 3.01 ERA with 56 complete games in 207 starts.
Today the Orioles introduce Uehara with a Press Conference on The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network at Noon.
