The Baltimore Orioles won their 29th one-run game last night, defeating James Shields and his fifteen strikeouts 1-0. The Birds are 29-9 in one-run games this season. According to ELIAS, that’s the best winning percentage in games decided by one-run since the 1890 Brooklyn Bridegrooms (14-4).
