We made it, you guys. We freaking made it.
Right between our 17th and 29th snow storm, I thought to myself “baseball is never going to get here. It’s never going to be warm again.” But I was wrong because sure enough, here it is.
HAPPY OPENING DAY!
The Orioles have had the Red Sox number of late. Last season they were 11-8 against Boston, they were 13-5 against them in 2012.
Boston starter Jon Lester is 15-3 with a 2.94 ERA, 1.318 WHIP and 2.43 K/BB in 25 starts against the Baltimore Orioles. He hasn’t had a tough time in Camden Yards, going 8-1 with a 2.99 ERA, 1.242 WHIP and 3.04 K/BB in 13 starts. Although, as Roch points out, Lester went 1-2 with a 4.70 ERA in four starts against the O’s last season.
In 11 starts against the BoSox, Chris Tillman is 4-2 with a 2.74 ERA, 1.235 WHIP and 2.45 K/BB. Tillman went 3-1 with a 2.65 ERA in six starts against the World Series champs in 2013.
So, we’ll see — I guess.
Cue the motivational quotes!

Right on, Buck.
Jones on opening day: "It's the start of something special. No one knows what's going to happen, but on opening day everyone has a chance."

Jones: "These are major league players. When the lights turn on, you can't be scared. The 3rd tier is in there & we're at Camden Yards."

Chris Davis: "We know we have a good group in here, and to be honest with you, we don't care what anybody else thinks." #orioles

I must say I need to correct you on one thing here. You did say “baseball is never going to get here. It’s never going to be warm again.” Well, baseball is here…but it still isn’t warm
Something magic happens, everytime you go….
