As previously covered on BSR, Jim Johnson threw an expected three up, three down inning in last night’s All-Star Game for the American League. The location of each pitch Johnson threw to left-handed (L) and right-handed batters. Positive horizontal location are away from right-handed batters while negative horizontal locations are in on right-handed batters. Johnson’s fastball averaged 95+ mph and he pitched effectively both high and low in the zone with it. The only swinging strike Johnson got was on the changeup (CH shown in red/pink) to Michael Bourn, where Bourn was way out in front. Johnson has been up with the Orioles since 2008 and has never really gotten the praise he deserved for his 5 years of good to very good service. So today, here’s to you Jimmy Jam.

I do trust all of the ideas you’ve presented in your post. They’re very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for beginners. May you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
