Everyday on BSR we take a look at a different Oriole’s numbers from last season and set goals for them this year. Today we take a look at the O’s veteran third baseman Melvin Mora. While the rest of the Bird’s seem to be getting younger, one man stands out in the improvement. 36 year old Mora.

Last season Melvin Mora’s defense stepped up big time. He was scooping up everything hit to him at third. His offense jumped up in 2007 as well, from . 274 to 285. Mora drove in 104 guys last season, and if he stays healthy this season I would expect that he would be able to drive in a few more guys in ’09.

I like your optimism.
With more protection in the lineup I think you could be right.
A happy BRob and happy Markakis, a better Jones a strong Huff, man give me some more orange Kool Aid.
Absolutely. Our projections for Roberts, Markakis, and Huff make Mora have a successful season.
