With all the bad news he’s had to deal with on the injury front this year, John Harbaugh is finally able to share some good news: all signs point to a return to football for tight end Dennis Pitta.
John Harbaugh says the expectation is that Dennis Pitta will make a full recovery from his hip injury and will eventually return to play.

After suffering a season-ending hip injury in training camp before the 2013 season, Pitta fractured and dislocated the same hip in Week 3 of 2014. At the time, reports were not promising, as doctors with knowledge of the injury considered it career threatening. Instead, Pitta seems to be enduring the grueling rehab with his sights set on returning to the Ravens.

Pitta solidified himself as as fan favorite, one of Flacco’s Favorites, and as a legit threat in the passing game. A healthy Dennis Pitta could mean big things for this offense in 2015. Here’s hoping he can stay on the field.
