Justin Forsett signs a three-year deal to remain in Baltimore. Forsett had his breakout season with 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns on 235 attempts at 28 years old and seven years in the NFL. Aaron Wilson reports that Forsett will make around three million a year.

Definitely some worries about whether or not Forsett can reproduce his numbers from last season, especially with the departure of Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak. However, the Ravens are definitely no short on other options with Running Backs Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro.
The Ravens had about $10 million in cap space with almost 5 million being set aside for the draft. So with around $5 million in spending money, Forsett’s cap hit would be between $1 million-$3 million. There still might be roster moves on the way from GM Ozzie Newsome.
I hope he can duplicate his success from last year. Regardless of the “miles” he has on him, he’s still an “older model”. Let’s hope he keeps father time at bay for 2 more years, which is what this deal is, essentially.
