Analysis: The two-time Pro Bowler took a big step back statistically in 2009 after rushing for a career-high 902 yards on 232 carries and 10 touchdowns in 2008. This was mostly due to the fact that he reverted back to being a full-time fullback instead of a running back, which resulted in him only carrying the ball 46 times for just 180 yards. READ MORE >>>

Analysis: Doug Dutch was a WR turned CB coming out Michigan. After being highly recruited in high school, his play Michigan left many fans wondering what might have been. Dutch still found a way into the Redskins Training Camp in 2009, but ended up being a roster casualty. READ MORE >>>

Analysis: Hawkins was signed by the Ravens just a few weeks ago after being cut loose by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was not drafted coming out of LSU. He adds another body to look at in the secondary, as the cornerback position has been universally hailed as the team’s weak spot. He has made five tackles, defensed one pass and downed one punt on special teams in two preseason games.

Analysis: Rookie fullback Mike McLaughlin was signed by the Ravens immediately after the 2010 draft. He was scouted by several other NFL teams, but Baltimore had a clear interest in the free agent rookie linebacker and was immediately converted to play fullback. READ MORE >>>

Anlaysis: K.J. is entering into his second season with the Ravens, yet there is still not much information to draw from. Gerard made the practice squad coming out of camp and spent the 1st half of the season on it. He was finally placed on the active roster sometime in November and was primarily a special teams player. Analysis: The Ravens signed Travis Fisher as a free agent in the off-season to provide depth and experience in the defensive secondary. Entering his 9th season, Fisher has plenty of experience having played for the Rams, Lions and Seahawks. Fisher has been a starting defensive back as recently as 2008, but he has battled injuries regularly during his career. Those injuries seemed to have taken their toll on the former 2nd round pick, as his best days are behind him. Fisher has a good combo of size and speed and also brings the experience of playing in many different schemes and coverage types. READ MORE >>>

Anlaysis: Hakuri Nakamura is a exciting young safety in his 3rd year with the Ravens. This former 6th round pick uses his speed and agility to make plays. Now most of the plays have been on special teams as he continues to sit behind Dawan Landry on the depth chart. He did a serviceable job replacing the injured Landry and Jim Leonhard at the end of the 2008 season. READ MORE >>>

Analysis: The former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl safety, who was released by the team back in April, signed a one-year deal with the Ravens in June to add some depth to their secondary. Hamlin had his best season in his first year with the Cowboys, recording career highs in tackles (102) and interceptions (five) and was rewarded with a six-year contract worth $39 million. The following season wasn’t as successful as Hamlin or the Cowboys had hoped, though, as he didn’t quite live up to his billing. READ MORE >>>

Analysis: The Ravens signed McClellan as a rookie free agent on May 6, 2010 to add some more depth to their linebackers. In his five-year career at Marshall, McClellan was a three-time captain and appeared in 48 games, starting 42. He redshirted the 2007 season after suffering a season-ending knee injury during the preseason, but came back the following season with no apparent setbacks.

Nobody is sure what you will get with Antwan Barnes, or at least that’s a recent Sun article’s premise. If you look at Barnes, he seems to have what it takes to get it done. And at moments, he does get it done. Other moments, he doesn’t get it done. READ MORE >>>
