The Baltimore Orioles Are The First Team In Baseball With 25 Wins

Xavier Avery, Nick Markakis and Adam Jones celebrate the sweep in KC.

With their two-game sweep in Kansas City, the Baltimore Orioles have become the first team this season in Major League Baseball to win 25 games.

As the graphic in the image above points out, Baltimore have won seven straight road games for the first time since 1999.  They did so against the Yankees, Red Sox and Royals.

Hopefully that streak will continue during interleague play tomorrow in D.C.

If “baseball is dead in Baltimore” as some around here claim, I am glad to know it’s alive and well when the Orioles are on the road.

The jerkweed “spy” has dropped that little line. He’s pretty much backed off all the orioles bashing. He’s a candy ass.

Hey Floyd , you paper tiger you ,,,,,,,,,,I have never backed off my hatred for the Angelos clan and their desire to screw the fans in favor of their trust fund,,,,,,,,,,,I have never bashed the players , except when deserved , I have always aimed my comments at the ownership,,,,,,,,,this is a fluke year because the Yanks and Bosox are down this year but their desire to win is greater than the O’s,,,,,,,,,,this will show it’s ugly head later this year and I’m sure you will show your ugly head also………..

Baseball is undead in Baltimore then. It was dead, and since they are good right now they aren’t dead. When they are bad they will be dead again and when they start to win again they will be alive again. That’s how death works, right?

It’s touch and go right now, we will have to see.
