Torrey Smith’s hair has been the topic of the week right behind the Harbowl. The Ravens rookie wide receiver was tackled by his dreadlocks on Sunday by Pacman Jones and ever since has been taking heat about getting a haircut.
Smith told his twitter followers on Tuesday that he will not be cutting his dreads. “I have a million tweets about it,” he wrote. He did reach out to fellow NFL wide receiver and dreadlock rocker Larry Fitzgerald about hair tackles.
“Have you every been tackled by your dreads,” Smith asked Fitzgerald. “Luckily that hasn’t happened,” Fitzgerland responded. “Yet, odds aren’t looking good for you in it happening again seeing how young ur lol.”
Smith added that he isn’t worried about it happening again. “It was a fluke,” he tweeted.
