It could be complicated…. The Orioles’ 3-year, 16-18 21 million dollar offer is not enough.
OR….
It could be simple…. It could be just a matter of timing. Jen Royle at MASN reported this weekend that LaRoche was out in the wilderness.
I know last week he was on a hunting trip, so it doesn’t appear as if he’s rushing into his decision, and rightfuly so.
It seems the Orioles are offering LaRoche the best contract and best opportunity. I have a good feeling about this.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Why hasn't he signed yet or maybe the question should be why have we waited so long to try and sign him? The guy produces 20 – 25 hr's and 80 – 100 rbi's per year. I give up with the O's front office, they seem like they are happy with their current losing streak.
Don't think to hard. The Orioles have offered LaRoche over and above with a now reported 3 year- $21 million deal.
LaRoche and his agent are just seeing if anything else comes through. The main contenders for LaRoche was the Padres and the Nats. The Nats have turned their attention to D. Lee and the Pads have made it clear that they don't want to sign LaRoche for 3 years. They have a stud that they want to bring up soon.
Not sure what LaRoche is waiting for, but I fully expect him to sign with the O's this week.
