Yesterday we were discussing the liklihood of the Orioles bringing back their All-Star second baseman Brian Roberts. While the deal is still not official, the birds are expected to announce a 4 year 40 million dollar deal for B-Rob.
Roberts will make $8 million in 2009 and his extension will not start until the 2010 season. That means he will be under contract through the 2013 season. At age 31 this will likely be his last big contract and is yet another big move by the Orioles.
