Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans put in some work on Labor Day after missing practice for a week with a left foot injury. Evans was sidelined following the Ravens win over the Washington Redskins in week three of the preseason and has been seen wearing a walking boot.
Baltimore’s newest receiver told Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times that the rest was “precautionary” and that he expects to play on September 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Any rest you can get during this season is welcome,” Evans said. “It was good to rest a little bit but it’s good to be back out here.”
