Is it more shocking that Cam Newton’s brother is a Raven or that he plays center?
The Ravens signed two players to their practice squad on Monday, offensive tackle Kenny Wiggins and center Cecil Newton, the brother of Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton.
Cecil signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2009. We was waived on September 5 and re-signed with the practice squad the next day. Newton promoted promoted to the Jags’ active roster on December 21.
This season he has spent time on the Saints and Packers practice squads.
