Last year at the Caps Casino Night Fundraiser, one of the more interesting items available at the silent auction was a segway tour around DC while accompanied by Capitals players. On Sunday, the Capitals made it happen. Luckily, photos were taken.

Keep in mind that they did this a day after a rough 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. The Capitals do a lot of great things for the community, which makes rooting for them even easier.

In other news, Ovechkin and Jason Chimera will both not face any additional discipline for their respective hits against the Oilers. John Erskine is back practicing with the Capitals. Should be interesting to see what is done on Wednesday against the New York Rangers if Erskine is healthy enough to play. John Carlson and Alex Urbom have been playing well together, and so have Steve Oleksy and Nate Schmidt. Forward lines during practice were the same.
