To no one’s surprise, Chris Davis crushed his sixth home run of the season in the Orioles 3-2 win over the Boston Red Sox on Thursday. He’s now homered in back-to-back games and his 19 RBI are the most by any player through 9 team games in the live ball era.
That’s just insane.
ESPN’s Baseball Tonight featured Davis’ incredible start to the 2013 season and looked at just how far he’s crushing baseballs.
Remember when we were so disappointed when we didn’t get Teixeira? Or that soft clown Adrian Gonzalez? LMAO
Zach, can’t remember, but wasn’t Davis even just a “throw-in” on the Koji Uehara trade? If so, that “throw-in” is paying off bigtime so far…
I have to admit, I wanted “Davis” for years… MGW can attest to my wanting “Davis”… Glenn “I get punched out in a bar” Davis back in the early 90’s…
And yes, I wanted Adrian “Adonis” Gonzalez…
Davis came to Baltimore with Tommy Hunter in the Koji deal.
Right but wasn’t it Hunter for Uehara with Davis as a “toss-in”? If so, that was a hell of a “toss-in”…
