In case you missed our coverage of day two of the Winter Meetings, Dan Connolly tweeted that the Orioles have had talks with the Brewers about bringing Prince Fielder to Baltimore.

It would most likely cost the Orioles at a least top tier prospect like Zach Britton (as we pointed out) and the O’s would want a contract extension for Fielder who would be a free agent in 2012.
Do you think the Orioles could bring Fielder to Baltimore or what other power hitters could they be after?
I doubt the Fielder would agree to an extension with the Orioles.
I think Prince Fielder would be a great addition. I would have taken Jason Bartlett for Nolan Reimold. We have better outfield depth than at shortstop.

No way Fielder is coming to Baltimore, we can't get the middle of the road guys what makes you think we can bring in a big tuna like Fielder.
I believe that a hitter like Prince Fielder only will help his value by playing Camden Yards! So if the O's can get an extension of 3 years at 45 million and give up a couple of young arms. it will be worth it for both sides. Just get it done. Its time!!!!!!!!!!!

Boras and Prince laughed at 5/100 when Brewers offered it last spring. Boras thinks he deserves 8/200……absolutely no chance he will accept 3/45, get real.
