Ravens veteran Ray Lewis has to be itching to get back on the field after sitting for two weeks with a toe injury. Lewis missed both the Ravens Thanksgiving victory at home against the 49ers and their road win in Cleveland on Sunday.
Head coach John Harbaugh told the media that the team has been taking it slow with Lewis, which makes sense for a team destined for a home playoff game and cruising through the rest of their schedule. “We’re being somewhat cautious with it,” Harbs said on Monday. “I don’t know if he’ll play against the Colts.
But Lewis is done waiting. “He wants to play,” Harbaugh said. “He was bouncing around the field before the (Browns) game.”
