John Harbaugh - Gary Kubiak hired as Ravens offensive coordinator

Gary Kubiak come on down. You’re the next contestant on the Ravens offensive coordinator shuffle!

The Baltimore Ravens have hired former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak as their next offensive coordinator. Should we start betting now on the date that fans begin calling for him to be fired?

Rick Dennison joins the staff as Baltimore’s new quarterbacks coach though Kyle Shanahan, who many originally thought would join this offensive “dream team” will not be donning purple in 2014. The Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson also reports that the Ravens won’t be retaining tight ends coach Wade Harman.

Kubiak also reportedly interviewed for the Cleveland Browns’ OC position as well. Over his NFL career, Kubes has been a part of six Super Bowls (three as a player and three as an assistant coach). He also sports three championship rings (one with the 49ers and two with the Broncos)

This morning The Sun’s Mike Preston stirred things up (bet you haven’t heard anyone say that before) when he tweeted the following:

Non-factor? Wow. What do you think of Harbaugh not being allowed to choose his own staff? Is Harbs on the hot seat after one bad season?
