AL MVP candidate Adam Jones made a play on Monday night that everyone is talking about — at least they should be.
In the top of the sixth, the Orioles center fielder robbed Rays third baseman Evan Longoria of a home run in deep center field. Then, after making the catch, Jones fired to second base to throw out Matt Joyce.
Yeah, it was a pretty nasty play. I was excited about it. So was Adam Jones.
Tillman on Jones: "Typical Adam. Not satisfied with the catch. He had to throw someone out. He’s in the upper echelon." #orioles

Buck on Jones play: "I don't know what was better, the catch or the throw." #orioles
