Twitter Legend “Incarcerated Bob” Says Orioles Are Prepared To Make Josh Hamilton A Huge Offer

The seedy underbelly of the sports world lives and breathes deep within the walls of Twitter and their ruler goes by the name Incarcerated Bob. This news breaking, gambler has nearly 100,000 followers and a reputation for predicting the future that’s tough to argue against.

He’s called out a number of mainstream media personalities, including ProFootballTalk.com‘s Mike Florio, for being late on his scoops and now he’s got some news on our beloved Baltimore Orioles.

According to Incarcerated Bob, the O’s are Mariners are “ready to jump” on Josh Hamilton. He adds that the Orioles are prepared to make a huge offer.

We’ve already seen them tied to Hamilton. Though I still think that he’ll be on the market for a while this offseason.

Here’s the latest rumor circulated by the media that when it doesn’t happen guys like 2488 will say “they went cheap”.

For the record, the Orioles brass has said they are “not” in the running for Hamilton.

No way they sign Hamilton. This is another tease only started by the media versus the team. It’s like being a horny teenager again, you can talk about it and dream about it but ain’t no way you are getting the prize.

Come on MGW, dogging me? I don’t think they should get Hamilton nor should they get bottom of the barrel guys. You know where I stand on this. Yes they go cheap to pick up garbage guys and you know it. They need to pay medium money to get semi-stars. Guys like Youkilis and Victorino. Don’t pay big for Hamilton and Grienke.

You know where I stand on paying big for guys like Hamilton. I wouldn’t call them cheap if they didn’t make a play for him. I would call them cheap if they offer Youkilis $15mil for 3 years if other teams are offering $30mil for 3 years.

Come on MGW, I thought we got past that this year…

88 – Not dogging you, dogging the guys like Incarcerated Bob who get fans riled up for nothing. The Orioles have repeatedly said they are NOT in on Hamilton or Greinke.
