The only compliment that I have ever paid Pittsburgh is that I like the matching uniform colors of each of their professional sports teams. Black and mustard through and through.
…I guess I should also admit that I’m a fan of The Dutchman, Andrew McCutchen, as I’ve mentioned numerous times on the BSR Podcast.
That’s it though.
With that said, Baltimore will collectively laugh at Pittsburgh twice this season when the Steelers don their 80th season bumblebee throwback unis. Have you seen these bad boys?
You have now.
I feel like if you’re going to wear these uniforms you have to go all out and sport leather helmets.
Apparently James Harrison isn’t too fond of the retro look. “There’s a reason these jerseys were from 1932,” he tweeted. ’34 actually, but who’s counting.
“It’s 2012 now though, so send them back!!!lol”. I really hope Harrison was actually laughing out loud.
If only the Ravens had a throwback they could legally wear.
I’m sorry Dave, I had to post this one.

Look like a damn convict. Like Spy back in 2008 before he got reformed and took up crochet and soccer. Spent 3 years of his life face down, biting pillows at night and limping in the day time. Damn, ever get those hemmorhoids taken care of….buddy?
Hey Zach…F Pittsburgh!
You know Spy?
I think we were in prison together. I remember a guy and he always hid his face in the pillow, he said his name was spy. Think it might be the same guy.
I was always on my back while you admired what you were jealous of…..
Zach, they probably will wear that uniform (minus the leather helmets), on the Sunday night game with the Ravens November 18th. Speaking of which, how do you feel about the two meetings being played twice in 3 weeks?
That is just two losses for Pissburgh, that’s all.
