Joe Flacco finally said what everyone else was thinking. There’s no doubt that Ray Lewis‘ motivational speeches have fired up his teams for 17 years, but often times they don’t seem to have an actual point or any real meaning.

Flacco, who officially became the new face of the Baltimore Ravens when he signed a six-year, $120.6 million deal, talked about Lewis’ speeches with Robert Klemko of USA Today.

“His speeches come from the heart, but there’s definitely times where I’m sitting there kind of chuckling to myself. It’s all good. There’s nobody that’s more passionate about what he does than that guy.

“So you just sit back and take it all in, but there’s times where he says some stuff and you’re like, ‘Man I don’t know what that meant, but I like how he said it.'”

Glad I’m not the only one.

  1. Imagine Ray on ESPN. Should be really entertaining.

  2. Joe speaks the truth,,,,,,you just know all these players felt the same way you could tell by the looks on their faces , but out of respect , they let Ray go with it……………..good for them………….to me it looked like a real team effort , the sum was greater than all the parts…………………….
