Before Thursday’s 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets, the Washington Capitals had a special visitor. That special visitor was none other than Secretary Of State John Kerry. Kerry met with the Capitals before the game and participated in a ceremonial puck drop with Olympians from both teams. Here are some photos and videos from the event.

That is why both parties must commit to either a fist bump or a handshake. If one commits to one and the other commits to the other, it gets awkward.

Adam Oates: “Hey John Kerry! Good to meet you! Say, I have a question for you.”
John Kerry: “Sure Adam, what is it?”
Oates: “Can you play defense?”

The Capitals are now 1-0 when John Kerry visits them before the game. Can John Kerry visit the Capitals before every game?
