We Knew Steve Pearce Has Been Good, But Did We Know He Has Been This Good?

Who’s this year’s Most Valuable Oriole? It’s got to be Adam Jones, right? I think so, but don’t underestimate how much Steve Pearce has meant to to the O’s.

According to FanGraphs WAR, Pearce has been a 3.4 win player in just 81 games. That’s second on the Orioles behind Jones, but ahead of guys who have played everyday like J.J. Hardy, Nelson Cruz and Nick Markakis.
