After three straight home games and a bye week, the Baltimore Mariners hit the road to square off against the New Jersey Revolution. The game was a tale of two halves, as the Revolution kept the game within reach after 2 quarters of play, but were put to rest by the strong Mariners defense in the second half.
“We’ve definitely been spoiled,” running back Isiah Grier told me in response to Baltimore’s three straight home games followed by a bye week.
Quarterback E.J. Nemeth threw for a personal best seven touchdowns in the club’s 61 point effort.
