Who is that guy? I barely even recognize him.
Former Ravens center Matt Birk has dropped 75 pounds and 10 inches from his waist since retiring from pro football in February. Birk was listed at 310 pounds last season, he’s down to 235 now.
The top left picture is from Birk’s profile on Challenge.com in which he is competing to represent the Visalus Community as the next Vi Model. Here’s his bio:
I am passionate and committed to transforming our culture to one of health, fitness, and balance. Children are a product of the environment in which they live, and today childhood obesity is out of control in our country. Being a former overweight kid, I know firsthand the obstacles that many of our young people face. I am also proof that you can be whatever you aspire to be. Since winning the Superbowl in 2013 as the starting Center for the Baltimore Ravens, I have lost 75 lbs. and 10 inches from my waist. Visalus has had an amazingly positive impact on my life. I would be honored and humbled for the opportunity to represent the Visalus Community as the next Vi Model.
