No One Outside Maryland, Delaware And Virginia Is Rooting For The Orioles In ALCS

If the Orioles were in the American League Championship Series in any other year, they would be the feel good story in baseball. Yet somehow, the O’s find themselves up against the Royals, a scrappy team who hasn’t been to October since they won the World Series in 1985, and everyone is rooting against Baltimore.

Here’s a SportsNation poll from ESPN that asks “Which team are you rooting for in the American League Championship Series?”

Maryland, Delaware and Virginia are the only states cheering for the Birds.
