This afternoon in Boston in his pre-game press conference, Dave Trembley stated that Wednesday’s starter was “TBA” and that the starter will be recalled from the Orioles‘ minor league system.
Andy MacPhail and the Orioles typically never officially make announcements like this until the last minute, unless of course it’s Matt Wieters. But, everyone is speculating that Chris Tillman will be the starter against the Kansas City Royals’ Zach Greinke.
Tillman would have an extra days rest, but if coming off one of his poorest performances at AAA Norfolk. Tillman went just 3.2 innings surrendering 4 runs on 6 hits with 4 walks.
Either way, I think it’s Tillman time in Baltimore on Wednesday.
