On Friday night, The Baltimore Orioles honored their legends in one of the best ceremonies I’ve seen. From Frank Robinson to Brooks Robinson to Jim Palmer, fans in attendance were fortunate enough to cheer for the largest collection of Orioles Hall of Famers ever assembled as part of the club’s 60th season celebration.
The Orioles released the full 34 minute video of of the on-field festivities and it’s absolutely worth checking out. I’ve watched it a couple times already. The projections on the Warehouse are amazing. Here are a few of my favorite moments in GIF format.
Seriously the coolest moment I’ve ever seen a OPaCY. Right up there with Cal Statue night.
I’ve heard that this event was one of the best the Birds have ever done. Seems like every aspect of the franchise has made a turn around – on the field, the minor leagues, their approach to the fans. Funny how things can turn around.
