The games have been… trying… this week. Surely, you’ve noticed. The Oriole have been doing their best to find new ways to lose, and they’re going out of their way to make it as demoralizing as possible. A fan base like ours has to worry that these past three seasons were some sort of beautiful dream, and the Dark Ages are back.
A little dramatic? Yes. There is plenty of time in this season for the O’s to right the ship, especially because the rest of the AL East has been unremarkable. BUT AT SOME POINT, THEY HAVE TO START WINNING GAMES! And while we wait for them to put those wins together, the losses have been brutal.
In one of my recent Twitter Tantrums (at least I’m honest?), I planted the seed for a depressing game.
The Orioles are really filling up their “Demoralizing Ways to Lose” bingo card.

What if that were an actual thing? Well, Orioles Bingo would probably look a little bit like this:
What did I miss? What makes your bingo card?
Davis strikes out again!
Cabrera blows blunt between innings. Buck gets whiff of second hand smoke and starts Pearce at 2nd.
John Harbaugh would have sent the runner.
Dan Duquette claims Canadian citizenship and refuses to make any more moves in 2015.
Adderral, one D or two?
Pitching, defense and the 3-run homer…has anyone seen them?
Runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs doesn’t score
Jonesy GIDP 1st pitch
O’s only score in the 1st inning
