Despite just a handful of Spring Training games having been played, USA Today has already posted their MLB power rankings. The Baltimore Orioles rank 24th according to the writers of USA Today ahead of the Houston Astros, Washington Nationals, Kansas City Royals, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cleveland Indians.

The Orioles final 2010 rank was 26th and despite being the offseason champions, according to the Wall Street Journal, the USA Today does not see them making much of a better finish in 2011.

Finishing in the top five were the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants and Minnesota Twins respectively.
