Ed Reed has told sports talker 105.7 The Fan that he expects to begin the 2010 season on the physically unable to perform list. This would mean that Reed would miss the first six games of the season and wouldn’t return until October 24 against the Buffalo Bills, one game before the Ravens BYE week.
“I’m going to be on the PUP list for a minute,” Reed said this morning. “And I’m not going to let them take me off like they took me off last time.”
Ed has been pretty outspoken so far this season.
Without Reed, the Ravens lose their star defensive playmaker for the toughest part of the season.
Notably, the Monday Night opener against the Jets, as well as games against the Bengals, Steelers, Broncos and Patriots.
Bring on Ken Hamlin.
The winner of last years’s marathon for the men was Alphonce Yatich who broke the race in 2:14:04. The top woman finisher was Iuliia Arkhipova who ended the course with a 2:32:09 time. Will we see a second record broken this year?
